In the office
The Company continually endeavour’s to influence clients and approved sub-contractors in this direction.
When eating food in the office, we use proper cutlery and crockery in preference to disposable plates and cups. Where possible, we do not use bin bags and we recycle all other materials like paper, ink cartridges, old mobile phones and bottles.
We use pot plants, because they are good for absorbing emissions from the printers. We carry out regular office tidies. We maintain our computers and all of our electrical equipment, so we always try and repair them before we have to buy new ones.
We turn off the lights and heaters when not required, we us low energy light bulbs. We also have a policy of responsible water usage, with minimal wastage. Where possible, we bulk buy supplies to minimise packaging wastage.

All employees are trained to understand the potential environmental impact of operations they carry out and how they can be minimised. We focus on minimising waste and recycling wherever possible and practical.
It is our policy to use new and efficient plant and vehicles to help to reduce pollution and to minimise fuel usage.
The majority of our on site activities take place within occupied premises where minimal noise pollution is paramount. The Company’s use of new and efficient plant, along with sympathetic programming of noisy activities, aims to keep noise pollution to acceptable levels.
Where possible and practical we seek to use modern and environmentally friendly products, for example water based epoxies, paints and solvent free adhesives etc.

We pay particular attention to the safe storage, transportation and disposal of solvents and toxic or biologically dangerous materials.
We minimise each staff members’ travel, to, from and between jobs, by planning their schedule so they always go to the nearest job. They are also aware of the importance of going to the closest merchants for materials.
We save off-cut and leftover materials from one job on and use them on the next job, where appropriate. We also try and dispose of our waste rubbish at recycling sites, rather than general rubbish dumps. In addition, our vehicles are serviced on a regular basis, so we release less carbon monoxide into the atmosphere.
General common sense is the overriding factor. We recognize the importance of working towards a cleaner environment.
